The Softub Difference
Uncategorized
Softubs are different, and it’s the differences that make them great.
“Sure,” you’re thinking. That’s what they all say. But Softubs really ARE different. One look will tell you that. But that’s just the start …
First of all, don’t think of a Softub as a soft-sided hot tub. While it IS a hot tub, in that you can immerse yourself in soothing hot water and experience hydromassage from powerful jets, that’s pretty much where the similarities end. Softub has more in common with the therapy tubs you find in sports facilities and hospitals, than it does with fancy hot tubs that have dozens of jets, WiFi and Bluetooth stereo systems. Plus:
There are no pinch points, because Softub doesn’t force your body into preformed seats.
There are fewer jets, but they’re powerful and move the water around.
It can support hot or cold water – just like a therapy tub.
A therapy tub can double as a hot tub. A hot tub can’t double as a therapy tub.
If you’re on your feet all day, if you play sports, jog or live an active life – you’ll love the soothing, therapeutic benefits of a Softub.
Softubs are also designed to be easy to install, and easy to move around. Hard tubs are often sold with “free” installation, which sounds like a great deal. But a closer look reveals some hefty hidden costs. Depending on where you live, you may need a permit. You’ll also need to make sure you have a 6” slab to set your heavy hard tub on, a 50-60 amp breaker with a kill switch, and a buried 220 wire. Those costs could equal $2000 or more above the cost of your hot tub – and above the “free” installation.
A Softub can be installed almost anywhere, indoors or out. Roll it where you want it, fill it, plug it into a standard 110v outlet, and you’re in business. No hidden installation costs here!
